<body> <h1>Earthen building project library</h1> <p>Since the 1980s environmental considerations have become increasingly important throughout Germany and Europe as well as internationally. Environmentally friendly, energy conscious and sustainable building using healthy and recyclable building materials is experiencing a renaissance.</p> <p>An ever increasing series of exemplary built projects bear testimony to the many and varied uses of earth in building, many of which have been realised by DVL members. The projects range from the everyday to the spiritual, from the historical to the modern.
