The teaching films for building with earth discovered in the German Federal Film Archives were produced by the DEFA at the beginning of the fifties and represent a special chapter of cultural heritage. The Dachverband Lehm e.V. has organised the editorial revision of these historic films with its own funds. The films are also used within the context of our training certificate programme. In the future we intend to make the films available for hire.

The short films cover the topics of building with earth / earthen bricks, rammed earth, light clay and clay plasters as well as structural stability of earthen buildings.
